Barbara Lacoste

French sculptor

Following his education in history and philosophy, Hadrien then studied sculpture and drawing at the Ateliers de la Glacière in Paris, specialising in bronze animal sculpture.

Through his almost instinctive research into movement, Hadrien moved beyond the impasse of dogmatic realism as he developed his stylistic effects.   His slender joyful animals aspire, reflect and leap, achieving a fluidity in space that expresses the sublime in the danse of life.
