Christine Pultz

French painter

Drawing comes as second nature to Christine Pultz. Initiated by her artist father, she began by painting still life studies, and then discovered the world of animals through cats, those small felines that naturally led her to the world of the great cat family. Today she focuses her attention almost exclusively on majestic tigers, golden-eyed panthers and lithe cheetahs. She is enthralled by the feline world: she does not hide her fascination and tries to transmit this feeling in her large canvases vibrant with colour. Amazingly immediate and realistic, her wild animals seem to be alive and one almost feels one can stretch out a hand and stroke warm soft fur.
